Make a Difference with Nordstrom This Holiday Season
It's the season of giving, and for the fourth year in a row, Nordstrom is proud to support Operation Warm and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as our national holiday giveback partners.
We're excited to continue our tradition of partnering with non-profit organizations that align with our values to empower youth in our communities. In honor of Giving Tuesday, we’re making it easy for our employees and customers to give back to causes that help the communities we serve.
Providing 20,000 kids with coats and more with Operation Warm
Since 2018, Nordstrom and our customers have donated more than $1.8 million to Operation Warm, a nonprofit that manufactures brand-new, high-quality coats for children in need. To date, we've supported the delivery of more than 72,000 coats to kids in need in our communities.
On Giving Tuesday, Nordstrom is partnering with Operation Warm to give more than 1,900 kids brand new coats from coast to coast through five events at elementary schools in New York, Chicago, Seattle, Denver and Atlanta.
The gift of a brand-new coat provides a child with emotional warmth, confidence to socialize and succeed, and hope for a brighter future. Together with our employees and customers, we aim to raise enough funds to provide 20,000 kids in need with new coats this holiday season.
Customers can help by donating at checkout at Nordstrom.com and at any Nordstrom store. 100% of every donation goes directly to Operation Warm to support coat programming and just $25 provides one brand-new coat for a child in need.
Sponsoring meaningful mentorship moments with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
Since 2019, along with our customers, Nordstrom has donated more than $2.4 million in support of our long-term partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. These proceeds support the recruitment, training and engagement of adult mentors and creating mentorship moments between Bigs and Littles, including preparing for an interview, learning to tie a tie and helping with homework.
This year, we have supported more than 180 Littles with memorable shopping moments at Nordstrom Rack openings across the country.

NYC & LA Santa Breakfasts Benefitting Good+Foundation Families
We are honored to once again invite families supported by our longtime non-profit partner Good+Foundation to join us for Santa Breakfasts in NYC and LA. Santa Breakfasts are a special moment for any family and we’re thrilled to share this tradition with Good+ families during the holiday season.
Baby2Baby Holiday Distribution Event in Partnership with FRAME
We are thrilled to co-sponsor Baby2Baby’s holiday distribution event in partnership with FRAME for a second consecutive year. In addition to receiving critical items, children in attendance are treated to an unforgettable holiday experience with a toy shop, Santa, snow and sledding plus a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be on the field and run the bases at Dodger Stadium.
Wollman Rink NYC Free Skate Days for Title 1 School Students
For the second year in a row, Nordstrom NYC is back on the ice partnering with the historic Wollman Rink from November 1 to January 1 with special holiday activations and free skate days for Title 1 school students. This initiative allows children and families to create lasting holiday memories while enjoying the beauty of Central Park.
